Seriously. This is a place where you can open up to the worship team. Do think if we played more Hillsong, Skillet, MercyMe, Charlie Hall or Red it would help your connection with God in worship? Please tell us. What about a particular song you would like to hear or maybe never hear again?
We’d love to hear from you!
Play “In Exile” by the band Thrice…. look into Thrice, they are quite eclectic and have some very loud songs, and some very quiet songs, but the lead singer is a Christian and gives some excellent ideas/metaphors for thought in his lyrics.
here, I’ll save you guys the time, here is a list of good songs by this band that the people of the church should be able to stomach… just do me a favor, read into the lyrics, respond, find out what these songs are about! this writer will make you guys think and search the scriptures at times!

uhh… and yeah there are plenty more, just some of them are probably too loud for the church congregation’s tastes, if any of you are interested in lyrics that have great meaning behind them(and some scripture).. by all means look into this band, you’ll love them.
Thanks for the introduction! I was not familiar with Thrice but like what I’ve heard so far. Thanks for sharing!
